A good friend introduced us to this beautiful wine while stopping for cake at the very special Sal De Riso in Minori, on one of our visits to the Amalfi coast. He thought it would be of interest to us because this special winery is located just above the hotel where we held our wedding reception. The vineyard is very interesting as it stretches vertically up the side of a mounting starting at just 50m above sea level, so the grapes have to be transported using cables to get to the winery. This bottle of wine is a perfect example of the high-quality wines that can be found on the Amalfi coast and we are proud to be stocking it.
