Recommended to us by good friends (and Gin lovers) in Ireland, we decided that Shortcross Gin was special enough for a place in our shop.
The Gin is a distilled gin made by the Rademon Estate Distillery in Northern Ireland. Distilled in a bespoke copper still, Shortcross Gin is a classic gin with an unusual twist - fresh apples, elderflowers, elderberries, and wild clover harvested on the Rademon Estate are all used in the distillation alongside classic gin botanicals. These unusual ingredients help to make Shortcross Gin stand out from the rest: with a long warm finish, notes of pepper and juniper and a refreshing taste of floral and citrus.
Best enjoyed as a classic G&T with a premium tonic and a twist of orange zest to lift the citrus notes in the gin.
