We already love Pighin's Cabernet Sauvignon, so when searching for a Merlot for the shop, decided to give this a try and we weren't disappointed, its a great example, packed with cherries, the spicy hints we expect from a Merlot and slight tannings, this fitted the bill for us and we're sure you will enjoy it just as much as we do.

Description
colour is an intense bright ruby red offering a nose of red fruits with distinct notes of morello cherry and violet followed by hints of spice and the taste in the mouth is dry with a good body, slightly tannic, warm, well-developed with a nice long aftertaste.

Food Pairings
pairs very well with game and grilled meat dishes, excellent with cured meats and hard cheeses.
