We enjoyed a bottle of this on our last night if of our west coast wine trip, a perfect way to end a great holiday, overlooking the fountains of the Bellagio. 

Overture is Opus One's second wine, using grapes from the same estate, but aged in French oak barrels that have been used before, this is a stunning red wine blend of five different varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec).

Description
The classic blackberry and cassis character of Cabernet Sauvignon melds seamlessly with the black cherry, red currant and violet from the Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.  The blending of wine-lots across vintages and extended barrel ageing gives Overture a supple structure and silky texture.
