One of Trefethens small lot wines, this Cabernet Franc offers everything you expect from Trefethens high quality wines. Rich and smooth and savoury it's another red meat or cheese wine.

Production Area
Main Ranch of the Trefethen estate vineyards, located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley.

Varieties
100% Cabernet Franc

Description
Concentrated aromas of cherry and strawberry, layered with accents of vanilla and a hint of graphite. On the palate, silky tannins carry the fruit and lead to a roasted coffee and black pepper finish.

Food Pairings
Ideal for rustic and earthy dishes which feature flavors of rosemary, mint or sage. The wine pairs particularly well with ham, pork or veal in stone fruit sauces. You can also keep it casual, enjoying it with pizza or grilled steak. Or try something more adventurous like fennel crusted salmon.
