This is an absolutely stunning wine, we got to try this on our visit to Trefethen Family Vineyards and it blew us away, this bottle contains everything a Reserve represents and we had to stock some, this is super limited and we are the only retailer in the UK stocking it.

Production area

Planted in gravelly soils in the northwestern quadrant of the stunning Trefethen estate vineyards, Located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. These well drained soils combined with limited yields produce Cabernet Sauvignon fruit with bright and complex flavors.

92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot

Description
The nose features expressive aromas of ripe purple plum, blackberry and bay laurel. The palate is rich with notes of chocolate and black cherry and the ample tannins provide weight.

Food Pairings
Lamb, beef or the meatier fishes such as tuna or salmon, simply prepared and sauced, create a special pairing with this wine. Thyme, peppercorns and caramelized onions are wonderful complementary flavors.
