Dolcetto Di Dogliani "Sori Dij But", Anna Maria Abbona 2018

Anna Maria Abbona

Dolcetto, is the underrated grape that lives life in the shadow of the well known Nebbiolo and Barbera varieties, but some producers treat the variety with the care it deserves and end up producing great wine from it. Anna Maria and her husband Franco are one of these producers located in Dogliani a (DOCG seal region)

Sori' is Piedmontese dialect for the sunny south face of a hill. 'But' or Butti is the name of the hamlet where Anna Maria and her husband Franco's house and cellar are, a stunning spot in a very beautiful area.
