An absolutely stunning Premier Cru we're excited to stock, this is a really interesting wine and a perfect example of a Chablis. The time in the oak provides a richness, which makes this an ideal wine for Sunday Roasts or creamy chicken dishes. But also perfect for an afternoon in the garden on a warm day with a book!
Minots is a small parcel of 50 year old vines in the Premier Cru vineyard, Vaillons. Located on the left bank, the site is rich in the famous Kimmeridgian soils of Chablis that contains many millions of marine fossils that give the wines such a unique flavour.
The nose offers mixed notes pear, ripe citrus, then toasted and brioche notes. The palate carries on with the citrus in the form of ripe lemons but is softened with hits of William pear and a creamy and rich finish concludes the tasting of this Meursault in style, which will remain fresh for many years.
Recommended with Fish, Chicken, Mushrooms and creamy sauces also blue cheese
